University of Hertfordshire Marketing Students present their ideas
Abovo Creative sponsored two groups of Marketing students at the University of Hertfordshire in an initiave allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical real business situations.
'Team Essence' put together a marketing proposal to help Abovo Creative develop their strategy on attaining market share in the developing mobile web design arena.
'It was a worthwhile exercise for the students and we were surprised by the quality and effort put in by the team. It has provided us with some useful research material and given the students an insight into Marketing in the 'real' world rather than just a text book.'

Urban Angelic sign up Abovo Creative
Urban Angelic, the new brand in children’s quality footwear, have just asked Abovo Creative to design and coordinate the launch of their new product range. With a new identity, ecommerce website and all the packaging to design, our web and graphic teams are currently beavering away to produce some inspired designs.

Brand Recruitment turn to Abovo Creative for help.
Brand Recruitment have asked Abovo Creative to produce a stable content management system to allow them to look after a rapidly increasing database of candidates and positions.
Amongst other amendments the updated site will allow for accurate emailing of Job Alerts to candidates, monitoring of applications including uploaded CV's and internal tracking of successful appointments.
Engena engage Abovo Creative to develop their online presence
Engena, specialists in Wind farm site selection, enviromental impact assessment, and their development, have asked Abovo Creative to create an online presence which will maintain their image as being leaders in new technology.
Abovo Creative wins Living Villages account.
Living Villages, the specialist residential developer of energy efficient and environmentally friendly new communities, has asked Abovo Creative to develop their online presence for the new Living Village at St Mellion project.
Based in Cornwall, St Mellion is a championship golf course designed by golfing great Jack Nicklaus and Living Villages are developing over 200 eco-friendly homes build into the framework of the course.
Abovo Creative director Ron Chambers comments “Living Villages are known throughout Europe for their creativity in building environmentally friendly eco-homes, so it’s a great honour for us to be working with them on this project.”
Abovo Creative invests in local school.
Abovo Creative has teamed up with Manor Community College to offer pupils a chance to get creative this festive season with a view to winning an amazing new student-only website courtesy of Abovo Creative. The collaboration with Manor Community College is part of Abovo Creative’s already growing portfolio of community-based projects.
The company has kindly donated Manor a 12ft Christmas tree for the pupils to decorate with creative designs before the Christmas break. After the winning design has been chosen the young budding designers will be working closely with Abovo Creative in order to create their new student-only website.
Justin Pardy, Abovo Creative Director, comments: “ We are always keen to work with various organisations in the area and are incredibly excited about working with Manor’s young creative talent.”
Manor Principal Ben Slade comments: “This is a great initiative which really celebrates our new status as a Creative and Performing Arts Specialist College. The new student-only website is an exciting idea and I am delighted that Abovo Creative has chosen to work with Manor Community College. Things are changing here and we want to be at the forefront of what’s happening in Cambridgeshire. I understand the Christmas tree came from the same growers as the one outside 10 Downing Street. If it is good enough for Gordon, it is good enough for Manor”.

Bodyshop Warehouse join the Abovo Creative roster.
Bodyshop Warehouse, one of Europe’s largest online automotive shops has asked Abovo Creative to undertake a complete update of all offline and online activity. The first deliverable in this process is a revamp of the website which involves a total design and usability makeover as well as integrating their product catalogues and financial reporting software.
The web phase of the project is due for launch in early November.
Golf Biodynamics ask Abovo Creative to swing into action.
Florida based Golf Biodynamics have commissioned Abovo Creative to revamp their existing web presence, prior to them ramping up sales activity across Europe. The finished solution will showcase the product, allow the raft of licensees to log in and create their own promotional pages and material and allow Golf Biodyamics to manage all content across the site
Abovo Creative putt for trophy at the Institute of Export Golf Day.
Justin Pardy, director of Abovo Creative, braved the elements to win the putting competition at the Institute of Export Golf day - he won on the 3rd play off hole - although most of the other competitors were in the bar out of the rain and wind!! Despite the weather everyone had a great day and thanks to the organisers for arranging the event - Justin is looking forward to defending his title next year (even if he has to fly back from the Brisbane office to do so...)
